Round 1 - ChristopherEucken

I win the die roll and mull to six, keeping three forests, a Gladeheart, Disfigure, and Marsh Casualties.  The first play of the game is a Cliff Threader off of Mountain and Plains.  Turn three gets my Gladeheart into play.  He lays a second mountain and attacks for two.  I finally draw a Swamp and play it, but Gladeheart gets Punishing Fired in response to the Landfall trigger.  No life gain for me.  I run out Joraga Bard to slow the beats.  Another Cliff Threader joins the opposing side and I draw Swamp number two.  I play Trusty Machete and equip the Bard, getting in for three to try and elicit more guys on my opponent's side.  He doesn't take the bait and beats for four, so next turn I hold back.  He holds back as well and casts Bladetusk Boar.  One quick three for one later, and Bard gets in for three again.  He plays Shieldmate and I rip a Diabolist to set his life total lower.  He follows that up with Pyromancer to kill my Diabolist, but Disfigure kills Pyromancer in response and Diabolist only takes one.  Next turn Big Knife goes into Diabolist's hands and he gets in for five.  He Magma Rifts Diabolist on his turn and then plays a Big Knife of his own.  I run out Timbermaw Larva and Knife him up. He passes without doing anything, and I draw and play Bala Ged Thief, stripping a land from his hand.  My 8/7 Larva swings in and is chumped by his 4/6 Shieldmate, and after one more draw step, he concedes.

I start with a mull in game two as well, to two Swamps, Forest, Crypt Ripper, Marsh Casualties, and Gigantiform.  He leads things off with a Cliff Threader again and I draw into more non-guy cards, Vines, Hideous End, and Big Knife, followed by a Bard.  Nice missed land drop and no plays.  His turn five Grunts meet a Hideous End, and I finally draw land four for Ripper, who gets in.  He's Magma Rifted the next turn, and Bard replaces him.  He plays Shieldmate and I rip and play Bala Ged Thief, getting two lands again.  On his turn he tries to Journey the Thief, but Vines has none of it.  I draw Turntimber Ranger with no second Forest, Knife up the Bard, and send him in.  He's blocked by the Shieldmate, and a small Casualties sends his two guys to the bin after combat.  He untaps and plays Bog Tatters, to which I draw Disfigure.  Must be.  He concedes at eleven after that.

Round 2 - ChumpBlocked

I lose the die roll, but have a starter I can keep, with Soul Stair, Hideous End, Marsh Casualties, and lands.  I start with a Soulstair, he's got a Shortcutter.  Teetering Peacks makes his first attack four, and I continue to just play lands and bide my time.  He shows nothing but red, which is great for me.  On turn four, I play a Bard, which he Burst Lightnings away on his turn.  Bala Ged Thief gets a land from his hand, only to get Torch Slingered on his turn.  Good thing that Soul Stair's active.  Marsh Casualties kills his side of the board and it feels like we're starting over, except with me at ten.  I still don't feel too bad.  I get my Allies back after he play a land and passes, then run the Thief back out there.  It gets Punishing Fired.  Another land go from him, and I start to fear Spire Barrage.  Joraga Bard sticks and he does the land go again.  I have Gigantiform and it sticks, drastically changing the race.  His Ravager followup meets a Hideous End, and my Crypt Ripper seals the deal.

I bring in Vampire's Bite for Mindless Null in his race of a match.  My seven is good again, with Soul Stair and Casualties again.  He starts with Bushwhacker into Geopede into kicked Bushwhacker and I take nine points of damage en route to Wrathing him for two mana.  He still has gas, though with Ravager and Shatterskull Giant.  I have Giant Scorpion and Mold Shambler unkicked.  He plays land, I play defensive guys, and finally End his Ravager to get in for three with Shambler.  He plays Mountain number eight, and I get in again with Ripper and Shambler, who trades with the Giant.  He untaps and Spire Barrages me and Rifts the Ripper, tapping out and leaving me at three, him at eleven, with me having Scorpion, Bard, and Gladeheart.  Good thing I have Gigantiform for exactly eleven.  He shows me the second Barrage in hand... nice timing.

Round 3 - bozidar2121

He wins the die roll and I keep a two Swamper on the draw with Casualties, Hideous End, and four drops.  He starts with Scope, then Harrow for his Blue, then Lacerator with a Scope on it.  Next turn he hits for two, gets a land off of Scope, and plays out Guul Draz Vampire and Windrider Eel, who meets a Hideous End.  Bala Ged Thief strips the last card from his hand (Mold Shambler), and I follow up with Marsh Casualties on his team.  It's pretty much a steamroll from there.

Game two was over quickly, as he used a Greenweaver Druid to run out back to back Heartstabber Mosquitos, and I don't have Marsh Casualties to catch back up.  He also Harrowed with Adventuring Gear on one of the bugs, and hit off his Scope on the other.  Ouch.

Game three started off with a lot of back and forth, as his Lotus Cobra stared at my Giant Scorpion while holding a Blazing Torch.  He followed that up with a Lacerator while I had a Bard.  Next, his Sell-Sword got in for three and I followed up with a kicked Mold Shambler, targeting his only Forest.  He had the Harrow.  Sell-Sword and Shambler traded, and he lays down Baloth Woodcrasher.  I Marsh Casualties away his dorks, but can't press through the 4/4 monster.  His Soul Stair Expedition threatens to make life even worse, and a Turntimber Ranger on my side just isn't doing enough.  He adds Windrider Eel to his side and not any land he draws is six+ damage.  He draws a land and attempts to Mosquito away my Scorpion, but Vines of Vastwood disagree.  Two more irrelevant draws later and he gets the land he needs to get through in the air, along with Woodcrasher firing off a Torch.

2-1, four packs, more experience in the format.  Let me know what you think.
